AML Training 2025

AML Training 2025
10/10/25, 12:00 AM
As part of its ongoing commitment to compliance and internal control, Lesna Financial Institution organized an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training on October 10, 2025, for all credit officers and branch managers.
The training aimed to further strengthen the institution’s internal control system and reinforce the implementation of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements as key elements of Lesna’s AML strategies.
KYC and CDD practices are critical components in effectively managing risks associated with potential clients, helping to protect the institution against individuals or entities that may present higher risk profiles, including criminal or terrorist activities. They also help in identifying and reassessing potentially suspicious actions among existing clients through regular evaluations.
These procedures represent a core element of a successful AML program.
The training session covered the foundational principles of KYC/CDD in accordance with both international and national AML regulations, ensuring that Lesna’s team remains aligned with global compliance standards.
Additionally, the session included practical examples and case studies, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in realistic scenarios and strengthen their capacity to detect and prevent financial crimes.
